When I was younger I loved the ocean, it calmed me, engulfed me and made me feel free.

Now I look at the ocean and see all of the dangerous creatures lurking underneath.

Somehow fear and darkness has taken over something that was once so beautiful. Maybe as a kid I was oblivious to the dangers, maybe growing up taught me to only see darkness.

A completely random thought I had. (via fuckyeahprettylittleliar)

A reminder that all the best people were once beginners. If you want to become really good at something, keep practicing even when you don’t see progress immediately. You can’t see it, but you’re improving a little bit every time you practice. Keep going and one day you’ll be amazing at it.
